I feel so bad for those that are in a panic state due to the tinnitus. This is worth a try if you feel dis- empowered, out of control or just plain want to feel better. You have nothing to loose and it is free. You can do it in the car or anywhere when you wish. This original "tapping" technique - EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) has been around for 15+ years. I occasionally will "tap" to calm myself down when I get that irritation or feel trapped panic regarding the tinnitus. You may look on You Tube for the EFT standard versions or try this version. I particularly like the "letting go" aspect of this technique. Also, this one is shorter than the standard. The technique or "meat" of this starts around the 5 - 6 minute mark on the video.
