I've come back from 3 days of watching motor racing (with double hearing protection) and my T is at its loudest ever. I can't fall asleep! Jul 17, 2017

@Rubenslash yep! Even though my T is louder it was an incredible few days :)

I'm sure you'll go back to baseline soon mate, i'm in the same boat as you in many ways!

Went to the two-day music festival that I had planned for a long, long while - wore double protection but T is extremely loud now!

@Mario martz @JurgenG I was there for about 5-6 hours both days though with only about 2.5 hours of loud noise exposure each day. Unfortunately it was hard to get away from the speakers so it was very loud. I wore in-ear -33Db earplugs and -32Db peltor ear defenders on top, but it appears they didn't help :(

        Did it go down again?

@JurgenG it's hard to say by how much exactly because I wasn't actively monitoring the volume after a week or so, but it did definitely go down a fair bit.

Highly reactive T! Only returns to baseline after I've had a night's sleep. Not sure what to do.

Lack of sleep over a couple of days has sent T through the roof, what I think most people would consider severe levels. Managing to cope.

@Rubenslash loud enough to be heard over almost everything :/

T continues to get louder. Short loud noise exposures while at university are taking their toll - just trying to live as normally as I can.

Noise-induced tinnitus getting even louder, can hear it over almost everything now. I thought things got better over time :(

@LukeYoung yeah I hope so. It's been about a week, but the scariest thing with a spike is the fear it's going to become the new baseline T.

Taking meds? Perhaps reactive T? Then it would make sense to protect your ears to seemingly innocent noise.

@Rubenslash yeah going to protect my ears more now. I think a recent short loud noise exposure did it.
