      I have had tinnitus since Sept 2017. Many spikes along the way which have all been very stressful. At those times it was hard to believe it would get better. I just want you to know I understand you and believe your situation WILL improve with more time. Not sure if you are in counseling but talking about this to a trained person may help you navigate the stress and anxiety. Most Sincerely, Jonathan

        Thanks a lot for the encouragement. Yes spikes are unavoidable, sometimes they come out of nowhere.. I used to have tinnitus spikes for 2 months. This one lasts almost 2 months. For things to get worse, somebody threw a firecracker close to me. From moderate level of hyperacusis I'm back to severe. I hope I will improve. I hope you are doing good

        I was doing good to some degree. Now I stoped taking gabapentin and amitriptyline and the sunburn aching pain is back.

        In some days my hyperacusis is a little bit better but in most days is like usuall.
