In my case habituation was and is acceptance and its a game I get to play out every waking moment. It does get infinitely better when you get your anxiety about it under control. You will start to realize at first small moments and eventually large portions of the day you may completely ignore it. Life still has its good moments. Stay strong!

when i first got t I’d challenge myself to sit in silence with it, but to also have something to distract me with. So I sat in silence in my room & distracted myself with social media. I needed music to fall asleep, now I can fall asleep just fine with ringing, even in silence. eventually it doesn’t bother you, just let time heal
