We live in a strange and noisy world with sounds and vibrations bombarding us 24/7. I lifetime ago I lived on a farm with neighbours so far away you could only see the smoke of their chimneys - god, I miss the peace and quiet we had back then...

@Michael Leigh, I still struggle with the whole, "avoid quiet rooms with sound enrichment" and "I may have damaged my hearing with "sound".... I haven't found that balance since my new spike.

You haven't damaged your hearing Flet. I recently wrote to you on your thread please read it: https://www.tinnitustalk.com/threads/first-post-intro-tinnitus-for-about-25-years-significantly-worse-since-april-2021.47224/ Set sound enrichment at the lowest level that you can tolerate. I don't advise you to meditate on your tinnitus.

Sorry, I just joined and have not introduced myself to everyone yet. And It's been super busy at work. Yes, my T has spiked for the last number of months and it's like I'm starting all over again and it's driving me crazy, hence me joining the forum. I will make an intro post.
