I asked my mental health professional for Clomipramine, but he told me that he can prescribe me only if I come to him with OCD issues.

Higher pitch than that. Way higher pitch. That soundscape actually sounds nice to my ears and would be a good tinnitus masker ha. Clenching my jaw increases the pitch of the ringing until I unclench.

Mine is higher pitch also, but maybe it is possible i interpret the sound totally different then you because above 3kHz a lot is completely gone...

More and more researchers seem to be focusing on tinnitus as a form of chronic pain. For me, it feels that way now. I think this could be a breakthrough. Until then, I would cherish the ears.

hey sorry for the delay here. i'm still trying to find out how. it's a struggle. i get burning in the ear as well, presumably a TTTS of sorts when my ear tries to protect itself

    Tinnitus Since:
    02/2023
    Cause of Tinnitus:
A night club in Feb ‘23, drummer since 15 years old
One sided hyperacusis in my right ear is the name of the game. I woke up with it and tinnitus, floaters, and light sensitivity after a night club outing in February 2023. My tinnitus feels very reactive and has only increases since the acoustic trauma and it feels more bilateral/central and I can't really distinguish if it is in one ear or another.

Considering trying clomipramine or the Silverstein surgery if no natural improvements this year.
