About
I've had tinnitus for almost 10 years now. The cause is unknown. The ringing I had usually previously ignored after a night in the club simply never stopped. I hear a high pitched noise in both ears, have had two separate bouts of hyperacusis and a 6 week CBT course which helped me in ways I could have never imagined.
I've spent many sleepless nights listening to static from vinyl, in tears and frustration on this site seeking help.
I have now found that perspective, positivity and looking back from where I started to where I am now at is what keeps me going with living with my tinnitus. The lack of silence has brought many immeasurable positives to my life. I listen to music all day, attend techno events regularly and have even learned to sit in silence with the tinnitus and meditate.
Moral of the story; it can take its time, but it certainly does get betterInteract
