Hey byrney, sorry to hear about your struggle. I have had tinnitus for 3 years now, and I can say that the first year was definitely the hardest one. Your mind does seem to adjust to the noise as time goes on. Try to stay relaxed as best you can under the circumstances. If yours does not go away you will be forced to live a very disciplined life to avoid spikes.
