        Sometimes I feel the more I protect them the worse my T and hyperacusis get. If only we knew what to do, and to what extend protecting from normal noises is actually beneficial. I'm not risking it, I overprotect, but it's tricky.

        Worrying about it can make it temporary bothersome but definitely still treatable spikes are kinda what I’m referring to bc your baseline can definitely increase due to comfortability of it not getting worse but spikes come and go randomly and unfortunately for me I’m sure this one is permanent:(

        @Nadia231 yeah it's a peculiar thing. If I wore my muffs for too long I would still get worse for no reason lol
