Hi I'm Debbie. My hobby is hanging out with my best friends on the porch in the North GA mountains or at the pool. My husband is a Vietnam War vet. My son and daughter-in-law serve in the Navy and Coast Guard. I have two grandchildren and a God-grandson. We are now experiencing the "Empty Nest," which we have found can be quite fun! Ok, so about the Tinnitus. I had to have a complete hysterectomy on 1-24-14. About 2 weeks later, my doctor prescribed the estrogen patch. The minute I put that patch on, I heard ringing in my ears. I have never had that before except for when I would go to a concert and the next day it would be there, but it always went away. This time, it never left. I gave up the patch after 2 weeks thinking the ringing would go away, but it did not. So, after 4 months, I started back with the chemical estrogen again. The ringing is still there. My main wish is that I could sleep at night. Sometimes the fan by my bed is not loud enough. Anyway, that's my story. I'm glad to be a part of a support group that could possibly help me to find some answers and maybe I can help some of you too.
Cheers,
Debbie / CmomInteract
