    Tinnitus and hyperacusis started to show its ugly face in week 5 of a 9 week long chemo treatment (cisplatin) accompanied by some hearing loss in the 2,000 to 4,000 hz range (hearing tests in Feb. and July 2014). Both conditions are constant and loud, affecting ability to sleep. Stress from work does not help. Looking in to possible treatment options like acupuncture and hearing aids.
