Went to sleep one night and woke up the next morning with a high pitched ring and a constant pressure in one ear, it has only been a week, but it's playing with my mood. Had an appointment with my doctor today who says my hearing is perfectly fine and there is no infection or wax buildup and that it could be fluid behind the ear, appointment is to be set with an ENT. Not sure how to feel about it, being told that it could be temporary however not to rule out it being permanent, not sure how could cope with it especially seeing as I've just started a new job.
