I have been a jeweler for 2 decades. Been to enough loud shows and clubs but started wearing ear protection years ago. My Father's side of the family suffer from deafness, tinnitus, and Meniere's Syndrome.
I have had a low level of tinnitus since my mid 30's but in the last few weeks it suddenly went up a notch where I feel the need to find out what is causing it and am just getting to see my doctor. ( I just got insurance).
It may be from new allergies inflammation, my OCD/ anxiety, stress, hormones, my bad neck, who knows? I am just starting my journey to solve my own tinnitus problem.
My Father suffered a small stroke in his 50's ( from a medication he was given that he was allergic to) which triggered his severe tinnitus and Meniere's Syndrome. He manages his symptoms medication free by training his mind to not focus on them.Interact
