- Tinnitus Since:

- Cause of Tinnitus:
- no idea... maybe pernicious anemia
I'm 65 and have had tinnitus for five years. I THINK it started after I took Neurontin for RLS five years ago, but that may have been pure coincidence. More recently, after several years of frequent falls, numb feet, and a host of other peculiar symptoms, I was diagnosed with pernicious anemia (inability to absorb vitamin b-12). My tinnitus seemed to be getting better after I started getting b-12 shots (which I'll need, monthly, for the rest of my life, but then -- today -- it got much worse again... hence my signing up with tinnitustalk. I was so happy when I thought it was going away with the b-12 shots. And I'm pretty damn depressed that it's back.Interact
