    HI
Im Andrew, Ive had tinnitus since June 2014. I have really loud whistle tinnitus.
I am a sing/guitar in a band and one night in June 2014 I wore in-ear monitors for the first time, I only had 1 ear phone in (left ear) and after the gig I had a bad loud noise in my ear, I have had this after other gigs before, but this time the noise never left.
I'm not going to go on about how bad the tinnitus is and how it completely ruined my life at first, but I want to say, it does get better, although the sound has never left me and I have it 24/7 I now have adjusted to it and it no longer ruins my life.
I has taken a year to get to this state and I wont lie it has been bloody hard.
I have come on here to say.
Please dont give up hope, it will get better and im proof of that, you wont loose your tinnitus but you will learn learn to cope.
    Best Wishes
    Andrew
