I am 54 and i am married with two sons, I started with tinnitus in december 2015. I had been made redundant earlier that year and had been suffering from stress for a while.I woke up xmas eve with high pitched ringing in my right ear , and knew there and then my life would never be the same again and was right. I have waited a year for any sort of help from the, e.n..t at sheffield hallamshire hosp. after numerous appointments with consultants they have finally agreed to help me. It was a tough year last year and i am glad to see the back of it, my hope is this is a better year with regards to my tinnitus that is. I gave up a lot last year because of the tinnitus ie, motobike, cycling, exercise, football matches, this year i'm going to take it back.!!!!!!!!!!
