My sound has been replaced, more hissy. Less loud but still very much ‘there’.

This is a really good sign. It is a major improvement. It is also possible that when T gets quieter, you begin hearing a hiss instead of a high pitch tone. If you wear earplugs or ear muffs, you might hear a high pitch tone again (because your ear protection makes it easier to hear it). This is what had happened to me once.

I hope so, I’m taking T improvement with a grain of salt but here’s hopin’
