I was worried too but go prepared (find tips on how to get it done as safely as possible, there’s some good info on this forum) and try to keep your anxiety to a minimum, or that might cause a spike in itself!

Most important thing is to have your dentist take breaks during the drilling. Mine did 10 seconds followed by 5 second breaks, and I didn’t have a spike. Good luck! Stay calm:)

My T gets lonely when I go to sleep, it needs someone to talk to. I'm a pretty good listener whether I like it or not. I get what it's like, doesn't make it feel any better though. Hang in there

    Tinnitus Since:
    2003
    Cause of Tinnitus:
    Loud music exposure
Hi. I’ve had tinnitus ever since I was 20. Could hear it at night. Didn’t realise at the time what it was. Have always had it during the night but never noticed it during the day for the past 17 years.

for some reason past couple of weeks I’ve started over thinking about it following a loud wedding that I attended. Don’t think my tinnitus level increased after the wedding and it’s not the sound that’s bothering me but more my negative thoughts about the condition. It’s all I’ve been thinking about past two weeks and it’s causing me anxiety. So thought I’d better join up this forum for support!!
