My advice is to keep calm and carry on. Yes, it's hard, but trust me, your brain will stop caring about T and more about what's for dinner.

Proud teacher :) Music lover (at a safe volume - obviously), Video game player, etc etc!

I have very supportive parents who keep me positive.

Have had tinnitus since I was 16 years old, no obvious cause, no hearing loss. :dunno: Hoping for a cure one day!

Had a recent spike which was like a dentist drilling in my head, probably caused by stress. Went through all of the emotions - despair, panic attacks, lack of hope, worry etc etc. Came out the other side probably stronger than ever.

Waiting for Retraining Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

The best advice I can give you is advice I have never seen on this website and it's so simple...
    Keep living life as normal.
Don't give up work. Don't give up your hobbies. Just live. Your brain will stop listening to the tinnitus and think about everything else.

    Stay positive. x
