I am a 73 year old retired male. As of a year ago I used to brag that I am the healthiest old guy around. Never had any medical conditions, never took any medication, never had problem sleeping. Then, on January 9th, 2019 it hit me like a ton of bricks. High pitchTinnitus, at very high volume. For about a week I did not take it seriously because I thought it was temporary. Then it dawned on me that it was not going anywhere.

In general I am very social, high spirits, high energy, spend as little time alone as possible, working out, working hard all my life till,retirement, three years ago. Tinnitus has robbed me of my life. No interest for anything, not able to enjoy anything, do not want to socialize. Tinnitus has robbed my children from ME.

I have tried anything known to man: accupanture ( five different ones), chiropractice (cervical), three different systems, one imported from England, of Neurofeedback (retraining of the brain), have seen five ENT's ( all useless, with five different diagnoses and advise), have seen two neurotologist ( equally useless), have visited bio-chemists who have supplied a variety of supplements, and YES, praying a lot. Nothing seems to be having any effect. As a matter of fact it seems to be getting worse. Taking AMBIEN in order to sleep, without it sleeping is impossible. First time in my life that I take any medication.

So, I apologize for not having a positive story to share. I am desperately seeking any advise, any word out practical wisdom. It may save my life. Thank you.
