I have been a tinnitus sufferer since 1990 when I used a gun in an enclosed space which started a permanent ringing in my ears. Since then, my tinnitus has got steadily worse in volume after accidental exposure to loud noises in 1994, 2004, and very recently in 2014.

After using an online measurement technique related to Tailor Made Notched Sound Treatment, I have recently found that my Tinnitus is in the region of 15542 hertz in both ears though it is worse in my right ear.

In recent years, I have usually managed to get used to each level as it has occured (usually in a few days) but on the last occasion I did some research and have become aware of certain support groups and how research and technology have moved into Notched Music Therapy, which is a very exicting breakthrough I feel.
