Ey, long time no see. I take it that your T is less of a nuisance lately? I do hope that's the case!

I did not notice if I had Tinnitus at that time because it worsened as the years went on. This is the one thing I forgot about.

Could a shot gun cause T because years ago my Grandpa shot a squirrel in his garden. I was standing close to him when the gun went off.

it probably contributed, but hearing damage is cumulative so that and a million other things like headphones, concerts, etc.

Trying to get my mind on other things is hard because once I do I always find myself getting trapped by my Tinnitus again and, again.

How long have you had T? It does become easier. I find myself going hours and hours - almost all day without thinking about mine now. In the beginning, I wouldn’t have thought that was possible. X

Sorry to hear that some family members are not so supportive. Do you have other people who have reached out to you? If so, you could focus on those who really care about you.

I have had Tinnitus for 15 years and, it has ruined my quality of life in so many ways. Anxiety and, a severe case of Insomnia does not make it any easier. I am having a hard time coping and, my family is not very supportive. I need someone to talk to who understands what it's like to have silence taken from you.
