Really don't know why I keep going on, I sometimes wish I would have ended it all in those first months, would have saved me a lot of pain.

@Autumnly I can't comment on your post, but nothing happened recently and my T is the same.....I just seem to have lost my habituation and seem to feel worse about my T for each day that goes by :/

I have quite a few eye floaters, but I rarely notice them/am aware of them.....Why cant it be the same with the tinnitus for me?? :/

the eye floaters came on gradually, and tinnitus came on suddently....maybe that difference means everything?

Took some NAC nearly 2 hours ago and once again my T seems milder. I would say volume/intensity has dropped about 30-40% this time.

My condolences Sandra. My grandma died exactly 4 years and 1 day ago, of Alzheimer's as well. We were extremely close, it was hard. Still miss her. And now my mom is doing very poorly. You take care and I hope you have some family with you.

I think that too. There’s only so many times you can abuse your ears, before it takes its toll. Unfortunately we don’t realise this until it’s too late. Doesn’t seem fair.

Mine does that a lot. Mine changes in pitch. It goes up and down and sometimes another sound appears. I have a high pitched ring. It use to be low. Not anymore lol. Sometimes I get two different pitches of rings and sometimes its a ring and a flute kinda thing going on.

Should not care if you had plugs, and probably even if you didn't have them. Also I'd be very very surpised if it got above 90 dB. It all depends on the kind of people though and the room.

@JurgenG it was a family gathering and my family is fairly loud, chatty and laughing loudly. I couldn't get by without my ear plugs because the sound level hurt my ears because of my H.

I cried for 7 straight months. Everyday. More than when I was a baby. Eventually I couldn't even muster up a tear if I tried. It takes people different lengths to feel better and also depending on their cause. I think you have a better chance at improving than I do since yours isn't from noise, but eventually I got to a better place, not a perfect place, but a better than I was place.
