Could it be cubital tunnel syndrom? Does your pinky finger get numb and/or do you have hand weakness? Being a musician I've had to deal with both carpal and cubital tunnel syndrome.

You have been taking all of these risks - it isn't surprising that your T has been getting worse. I hope you will learn from your mistakes and give your body a chance to heal.

@Bill Bauer I don’t know what to do I feel like I’m overprotecting my ears as is because my kid yells all the time lol

@Michael Leigh is it possible to habituate to very high pitched intermittent up and down tinnitus? Also masking brings the noise higher

Was putting in those tree ear buds when i put it wrong and it made a loud noise. My ear spiked trying to protect it... lol smh

@Bill Bauer they were decibullz to protect the ears. I took them off weird and the tip popped against my canal

All my previous spikes go away in hours, this one hasn’t gone down. All from ear protection.. the irony lol

Not sure if this is hyperacusis but the tv seems louder than normal and bothers me. Doesn’t hurt but ears feel sensitive sometimes.

Anyone else get noise in the ear while walking with plugs? Is that vibration ok?

Occlusion. Gave me some low hums. Use some looser plugs and softer shoes.

Thanks. I read from Michael Leigh not to overprotect unless you have bad hyperacusis. Should I not wear plugs walking then?

I would say it really depends. I would try to eliminate it as much as possible. I'll have to find the source, but it was determined occlusion can increase sounds by up to 20 decibels or something like that. Try to get deeper fitting plugs or walk lighter like Matchbox said.

First time I slept without waking up. Took forever to fall asleep. First time I woke up with very low tinnitus too. Spiked later... still :)

Dog whistle jumped into right ear for the first time. Can anyone recommend good daily ear plugs that I can still hear out of?

@kingsfan what are using at night for sound enrichment? You also suffer from the dentist drill like me lol

I have a sonos play:1 that I play cricket sounds on. It used to mask everything, but not so much anymore. Sometimes I'll also play audio books on my iPhone along with the cricket sounds.

@kingsfan thanks. I actually slept 4 hours last night. Tried enrichment but the buzz kept poking though the sound and I felt it. I just smiled and relaxed, helped some
