So I just bent down to retrieve my phone that had fallen to the ground, bending my head and neck when I started having a low frequency hum. May 8, 2021

Does anyone else have a feeling that fleeting tinnitus is related to muscle tension? It happens most when my head/neck is bent.

I have fleeting tinnitus sometimes with head/neck movements. However, other times I can be still looking at the TV/laptop. Not sure of the cause.

Is anyone free to talk about fleeting tinnitus? I am so scared.

There is a good chance that fleeting tinnitus is your body's attempt to recalibrate itself and to get rid of tinnitus. Everyone (including those whose T has faded) has had fleeting tinnitus. Just tell yourself that you won't worry about it unless it lasts longer than 60 seconds, and you ought to be ok.

It lasted a minute, maybe. I can't tell for sure since it freaked me out a lot and I kinda didn't noticed when it started coming back. It was muffled and weird but faded and it just felt itchy afterwards.
I never use headphones and have a Peltor ear-muff thingy that I use to give my ears some rest sometimes. Anything else that might help keep my ears healthy?

Does anybody remember a thread where they talked about fleeting tinnitus maybe being muscular in origin?
