I think that hearing aids provide you with perfect hearing and now your brain no longer focuses on the sounds. Mar 26, 2022

Hello. How are you doing? you wrote that hearing aids helped you with tinnitus.. I would like to try it too.. Your tinnitus is stable. Are you at the same level or floating, reactive? I have reactive tinyuts and low tolerance to sounds, tinyuts grow quickly from sounds... My audiologist told me that hearing aids won’t help me, but I don’t believe him

I'm doing well. My Tinnitus is stable. You will know within 10 minutes of trying the hearing aids if they will help you or not.

Anthony2019 what was your t caused from and you said yours is static. Mine started ringing at night when I had Covid twice, but it went away and then came back in 2023 was 10 times worse. Static-buzzing electricity. It’s in both ears and the worst is it’s in my head 24/7.

My T was caused by exposure to a loud sound.

When my hearing aids are not in, the static now appears to be less than it was before I started using hearing aids.

I hope you find that less distressing than your previous experience.

@Anthony2019 when your hearing aid is not in, how loud is the static? I have static too and it’s not maskable- can be heard over everything usually. I’m thinking about trying hearing aids to see if it would help. Is your static so loud it’s unmaskable without hearing aids?

Does your tinnitus sound like hissing or static or just ringing?

Do they help you? If so, do they help T or H, or both?

Do you mind sharing what type of hearing aids you are using?
