- Myofascial crap Bruxism, a jackhammer, stress who knows
after moving to a new house, a few months of power tools with no ear protection, then I chipped my tooth. on May 18, 2016 I went to the dentist to fix a chipped tooth and he tore my masseter muscle. I also have sleep apnea the causes harsh clenching so my jaw so each night the torn masseter got more and more trauma. So on May 29th, 2016 My T started , adding hyperacusis ,vertigo and tonic tensor tympani spasms. I'm not sure where my T and H came from, the jaw was just the most recent event.
