Hello guys, I'm new in the forum and I'm from swiss I'm 24 years old. I'm very glad to see a comunity based on tinnitus I think it's very helpfull for those like me that had tinnitus. Also I developed a mild tinnitus after a party where the sound was at very high level. Now is 4 months that I have tinnitus exactly from 17 january. I have also other problems releated to the ears I have TMD that end with a 'cric crac' in the ears when i swallow and when I eat. I have also an eardrum vibration when I speak, probably this is a stapedial muscle related problem. Sorry for my bad english but normaly I speak italian

Welcome Jokko. You didn't say if you are struggling with your T. If you do, then please read up the success stories. They will help you in many ways such as having hope that you can get well, and you can learn how other people get better. Hey Jokko, I really know how you feel because im in almost the same position! I have mine for 4 months now, too, I was at a loud party and firecrackers exploded near my ear and I still can hear mine. Its not really loud, if I dont concencrate on it, I usually dont hear it, but when it gets quiet (when I go to bed for example), I can hear it.
I also have the same sound when I swallow! This "cric crac" in the ear, sometimes only my right ear, sometimes both, sometimes it doesnt do this sound at all and I dont really know what this is. If I hold my nose and try to breathe out, my right ear also is blocked...... this all might be because the inner ear is still damaged/swollen and hopefully regenerating.... I for my part dont give up on hope and I hope the best for you, too! The only thing I dont have is this "eardrum vibration" that you talk about.....

Well, I hope you have a lot of fun here, best greetings from me!
      Tobi

I have the same crack when I swollow, I have had it all my life, I thought it was normal until I joined TT. I think its the Eustachian tubes that get sticky and gummed up with mucus.

The cric crack isn't the eustachian tube is temporo mandibular muscle that are stressed and not in the right position.
