      04/2000
      So excited to have found this site ....! Have had ever increasing tinnitus for 10 ? Years ....now becoming deaf as well . Look forward to reading as much as possible in this site .
      I live my life with radio on 24 hours a day ...or go out when the traffic is noisy .
      I have learnt to hear past the swarm of cicadas in my head , coz I knew I would go mad if I didn't .
      One of life's ironies ? I always preferred silent surroundings ..." Peace & quiet "
