I use my earbuds for many hours day and night, and lately I've started having itchy ears.

Not deep like an ear infection, but just inside the ear canal where the buds go.

So duh, it occurs to me that I never clean them and probably am contaminating my outer ear with germs! Yikes.

Any suggestions for what to clean the buds with and also how to treat this itchiness before it gets worse?

And don't tell me to see an ENT because that's not on my agenda ever again. Thx!

      Hello,

Does anyone else's ears itch throughout the day?

When I wear foam earplugs or even the musician's earplugs I see a little bit of wax coming off at the ends. But throughout the day I constantly have to rub my ears because it's itching.

It's been almost 2 months since I had my acoustic trauma.

      Yeah.

Weird tingly kind of itch in the ear I had my acoustic trauma in.

Also ear fullness on and off.

I am 9 months post acoustic trauma.

I am not saying I am right, I just think it's a symptom of tinnitus. Like hearing all the clicking when you try everything under the sun to sort out your so called Eustachian Tube Dysfunction that actually doesn't exist either.
