I had a large benign brain tumor wrapped in many nerves with an artery going through it. It was removed 4 weeks ago. It was located by my brain stem. All my post op problems seem to be on my left side, where the main part of the tumor was. Deviated tongue, problems with shoulder and arm.

But I have a very loud ringing in my right ear since the surgery. That no one is really addressing.

Has anyone else had this problem? Should I give it some more time since it’s only been 4 weeks? Has anyone else experienced this?

Looks like they harmed your auditory nerve. They aren't addressing it because they probably know they hurt you but there's nothing they can do about it.

Have you told your doctors about it? What are they saying?

Give it more time before you do what? You don't have much of an option but to give it time...

It's possible that you experience this as a side effect of the surgery. Have you experienced any improvement in those 4 weeks (in terms of T)?
      Have they checked your hearing?

I made an appt with an ent that works with my surgeon to get it checked, but in a few weeks. They said sometimes it resolves itself. I had a very complicated surgery and the outcome was better than expected. So I am grateful. The only thing that confuses me is all my post op. Problems are on my left side, yet the ringing is on the right.

Upper motor neuron change - hypoglossal nature is expected - and it's OK - for your type of surgery. Tongue will move to side of injury, but tinnitus always appears on opposite side. All usually does resolve. I'm glad that your surgery went well. Your arm - muscle tone is not affected. It should get better. Drink enough water - a multi vitamin.

I think with that type of surgery you have to give these things a lot of time. They do get better over time though. It may fully resolve.
