      I am waiting to go to e.n,a at hospital regarding the sccreeching inside my head it never lets up day and night i have nausea and dizzyspells and loss of balance all this started not long after i was diagnosed with Pernicious anemia, some days i feel i am cracking up , i hate when my beautiful 2 grandchildren are noisy it makes me sooo irritable and i dont nwant to be like this, i can even hear my tinnitus when tv is on . whats going on?? age 60 ffemale

      I am so sorry you are having a difficult time of it, but unfortunately without examining you and reviewing your audiological testing, I really don't have much to go on.

      Pernicious anemia is the result of poor Vitamin B12 absorption through the gastrointestinal tract. There can be several reasons for this problem, and your doctors will certainly want to look into the cause. Of course they will also want to correct your B12 levels - and since tinnitus can sometimes be associated with low B12 levels, let's see what happens when your B12 is corrected.
