I'm just curious to see if most people would be inside and if that could affect people's emotions due to less sunlight.

Less sunshine does affect my mood. Here at the beach it is often overcast and gray outside and it zaps my mojo to get motivated.

Then back in the beginning stages of tinnitus (2002) the sunshine could make me depressed because I was afraid to go outside. I lacked the energy and motivation and had too much pain. Seeing people outside living regular lives...made me sad because I wasn't like that. Back then. So a cloudy dreary day was rather welcomed because it took away that feeling.

Now...I am outside doing stuff all the time. A dreary day still kinda gets to me.

Star, that’s exactly how I feel. It’s summer now and it’s so hard to see people outside living regular lives. I welcome cloudy, dreary days. I wish it were winter again.

Really vitamin D is important for our ears and our mood. In sunny countries you can get the daily vitamin D you need by exposing yourself to 15 minutes of sunlight per day. I obviously get more sunlight on the weekend.

I usually spend one to two hours outside. I have chronic pain in addition to tinnitus so this is very important to me. It's not always great for my tinnitus, though, depending on if there are any jerks about. However, it can be very helpful for tinnitus if the people around you aren't crazy. The natural noises and ambience is very soothing and can help block out tinnitus. It all depends on where you live really!
