Is it true that sleeping on the side where your ear have tinnitus (left side for me) makes the tinnitus worse the day after???

I think I saw someone around this forum saying that.
And to be honest I have noticed that when I sleep on my "bad ear" side, my tinnitus would be louder the next day.

      What you guys think?

      Hi Mario,
It can be down to extra pressure on your jaw joint on the side you sleep and have tinnitus .
The extra pressure is right by your middle ear .....lots of love glynis

      Cause of Tinnitus:
Not sure, maybe dental and facial nerve
Yes, its true for me at least :(

I think my T is from some trouble with my jaw and the dental operation I have had....I feel there is some nerve irritation/inflammation on that side, so whenever I am unlucky enough to sleep with that side on the pillow, my T goes crazy high!!!!
It can take couple of hours for it to come back down or sometimes even a day and if not, Valium brings it down for sure  I Am still not sure why it behaves so....but I know for sure it behaves like that....

I am hoping some specialists I am seeing will solve my mystery.....:banghead:

      Cause of Tinnitus:
one week after leg surgery plus hearing loss in higher freq.
I have more high frequency hearing loss in my right ear but hear the T in my left ear. When sleeping it doesnt seem to matter how I sleep the T remains the same. I think stress and eating or drinking the wrong things makes mine spike ..

For me it does, then that side of my face gets numb as a fun bonus. If you only think it might be louder it's probably not a problem. It doesn't last forever either
