A week with ear infection, to the point that it was like some giant bug screaming to get out. That was it, to the Dr. I went.

Of course it's the ear with tinnitus and I will be honest the high ringing and hiss had me climbing the walls.

Dr. gave a prescription for ear drops.

4 days later and the ringing and hissing have become bearable. I've got no idea what brought on the infection

It has settled to faint hiss and ring. But today is the second day of silence

2 different drops one an antibiotic the other a steroid. Gentisone and Betnesol. Plus a nasal spray Dymista for eustacian tube infection.

@Elmer B Fuddled hi sorry I have another question but when you got t did you notice your swallowing more and it seemed louder and sometimes sounded like your ears popped? Idk if this is just because the t makes us more aware or maybe it’s something to do with my tmj but I’m just wondering :)

I didn't experience that ear popping I just only noticed the dull ache in my ear and the tinnitus very loud probably spiked as far as it could go.
Now that my ear has cleared up and recently started wearing aids I've had 2 separate days of ringing hissing I can honestly say that I feel the hearing aids have helped now that I have gotten used to wearing them. I'm now on 4th day of silence and even that's scary, with the thought that the sneaky T is hiding in the background. Does this help you?
