hi... I do need something for anxiety.. My T is definitely lower than 7 weeks ago but my anxiety levels are on the rise... I have 3 Xanax pills I was given until i see my primary care physician on April 30th. I got them cause I had a panic attack and the urgent care doctor gave them to me but he was not happy about it. I still have the hydroxyzine too. My mom is now here with me helping me. Last night I could not sleep at all I was vomiting shaking you name it!!!! And it was not that T was crazy .. It was my mental state ... I also got some magnesium which I saw on this forum that some take it to help sleep.. What is your intake???

I take magnesium chloride tablets about 1 hour before bedtime. Dosage: 2 tablets. They are 520 mg each. It will help to relax you, and hopefully you'll drift off to sleep naturally.

Other supplements that people use for sleep are melatonin, valerian root, chamomile (tea), 5HTP, and tryptophan.

I hope the magnesium works for you. If not, try experimenting with some of the other supplements.

      Good luck, and take care,
      Karen

As a long term solution I've heard that mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) can help with anxiety.

Physical exercise like running helps with anxiety and depression according to MANY clinical studies. Meditation, mindfulness exercises do the same. Forget pills, because their side effects are often bad. Latest research also shows the link between gut microbe and the brain and especially the moods. In fact, most of the serotonin (~90%) in our body is created in the gut by bacteria. So maybe also eat healthier and focus especially on probiotics.
