      This is weird.

I have bilateral tinnitus, but i have more problems in my left side . Its not the T that bothers me so much, i have reach some kind of habituation. The problems are my physical symptoms, ear pain, slight hearing loss in my left ear, eye pain etc...

Well, some time ago, i have found, in my left ear, the one that i have a hearing loss of 25db at 6-8Khz, my ear where my Tinnitus sounds louder, and the same ear where i feel more fullness.... when i pull my ear lobe, i improve my hearing... i start to hear as well as in my RIGHT ear. I just compare it in the night with crickets outside. When they are far, i can hear them very well with my RIGHT ear... but if i plug my right ear i can't hear them with my LEFT ear... but if i pull the ear lobe of the left ear i start to hearing them as well as with the right one.

That is weird, because my ENT, the self called in radio "Best ENT of the city", keep saying i dont have anything in my ears.. but this thing is crearly a physical problem.

Someone with this same funny situation?

      Hopes for everyone!

have your ears checked for wax.

you sure it's not a mental experience? how can pulling your ear lobe improve your hearing?!

Pulling on your earlobe can definitely affect your hearing.

I had a wax buildup in my left ear roughly 2 years ago, and lost a bunch of high-frequency sensitivity. As it started to clear however, I could pull on my earlobe and kind of strut out my jaw, and the high frequencies would momentarily return. As soon as I let go of my earlobe, however, I would feel a pressure 'pop' and the dulling of high-frequencies would resume.

Hi!, how did you cleaned your wax?, because i've known that using the syringe method can worsen or affect your ears.

      Hope you are better now.

I had the syringe method done 2 years ago. My wax was so impacted that it did nothing. I had no T back then, and it did not cause my T.

After I got T in my left ear due to sinusitis/ear infection, I had the impacted wax removed via "scraper" tools by an ENT.

Try putting your finger behind your ear and push the ear a bit forward , can you hear the same increase in top end ?
If so it is because you are changing the deflection/reflection into your ear canal and therefore hearing a bit more clearly. Actually I would not be bothered by my hearing loss if my ears just stood out ...like an elf or something :p

I was not prepared when a cold spell came. I got an earache due to not having a hat or ear protection. A few nights my ears were waxy and i had ear wax build up BAD. I got a 3.88$ earwax remover from wmart. It worked but i still cant hear clearly. I pull on the bottom of my ear, hear perfect. Then sometimes it pops. For a few moment i can jear clearly, but then its foggy again. :(
