experienced some head trauma around September of 2012 and then trauma to the face in August of 2013....that was about the time the tinnitus started, was mainly a hissing sound accompanied by some sort of movement in ear drum....now, suddenly a new sound! like a humming drone, most irritating. if i were to backtrack to my adolescents i had a surgery for TMJ when i was 13 and have pretty much been dealing with that in both L/R joints since that time. saw an ENT a few years back and my hearing was fine. no disrespect meant but sometimes i wish i couldn't hear (at least these annoying noises)!
