Is it true that you need cochlear implant to get this treatment? If it is not where I can be a part of this study?

@Beste To my knowledge, this is no longer a study :( It was back then where they tried implanting electrodes in patients. Results varied. 2 people were cured, 1 person experienced no change and 3 others had minor to major improvement.
Back when I first got T, I went to Michigan to see Dr. Michael Seidman to see if I could get the surgery only to find out that the study was no longer being funded because it was so long ago. Those who wanted the surgery would have to pay 150k out of pocket which I didnt have obviously lol. Its very frustrating that all the ACTUAL stuff they can do with T with surgical implantation and such is within the realm of experimentation. Here's a video you might be interested in.
