So I had few glasses of wine and was watching some tv show. After I finished the show I realized t was gone. I went to the bathroom and did not know what to think of while taking care of stuff. Don't bring it. It's gone. Thing about everything but t. So I do while I write it. I put music on and I go sleep. So I wonder if this ever happens to any of you how you distruct yourself from hearing it again or listening for it. We will see what happens later. It made me realize that our brains are trained to listen for it and flipping that coin over might be the hardest thing to accomplish.

T Is back. Let's hope for next miracle. The fact that it can go away gives me hope.

Haha maybe getting semi drunk made the neurons that are making Tinnitus go to sleep for a time xD
wouldn't that be some shit xD
Got Tinnitus? absolute vodka 0.5L a day for a week.
People would be getting Tinnitus left and right so they can take time off of work and drink xD
Also I'd take it as a positive that it went gone for a while, maybe with time as you don't care about it more and more your brain will actually be good enough to completely block it out, with Tinnitus anything's possible :)

      Of course a joke!

But, if wine would take away my T, I would most probably drink more wine... :)

Alcohol acts on the GABA receptors (gaba is a calming neurotransmitter), maybe dampening the effect of GLUTAMIC ACID. Benzos ie diazepam, lorazepam etc work in the same manner..............

Today I walk up during the night with silence. Such a weird feeling. You are happy but at the same time you are looking for T. Of course all is "normal" in the morning and T is back.

My T goes down from normal to ~50% quieter after I've drunk 4-5 beers but it comes back up after couple of hours regardless of do I keep drinking or not. Next day it's usually as it was before.

It's nice to have a little relief but at the same time it's kind of deceitful...sometimes it's hard not have couple of beers during the work week aswell...

I've had that happen before, My T lately has been crazy quiet after sleep. If I wake up in the middle of the night at like 4-5 AM, it almost seems like its completely gone. Usually goes back to its normal baseline throughout the day though (Which luckily is fairly quiet as of late).

I've had moments when driving to work in the morning where its been gone for a good 5-10 minutes at a time. And I totally know that feeling when your trying to search for it and theres just nothing there.. Its a pretty amazing feeling. Usually comes back though. Lets hopes that its a good sign, maybe one day itll just go and wont come back as suddenly as it appeared.

Still kind of wish I knew why mine popped up, but eh... whatever. I just try not to think about it.

lol... not much incentive to remain sober then ;)

By any chance, are you drinking red wine or does it not matter what it is you drink?

Be interesting to see my families face when I do .I will try anything .
Just to try this theory out ,see what happens to my T .will get back when I try it ,see if my being a lifetime teetotaller makes a difference .Try it like any med .My husband is teetotal with T ,get him to try it see if it affects his T any .
