Something to Think About - Discovering Cause of Tinnitus

Just a small thread to ignite some thinking.

Have you ever had the moment that a pure tinnitus whistle enters the conciousness from nowhere and after 10 seconds slowly dissappears. I think alot of poeple experience this once in a while. Whar I noticed is that when this is strong it also makes you go deaf for that period of time ... so whatever cause this experience creates temporary deafness and brings simultanous tinnitus (high pitch in my case) ... anyone knows what sets this kind of experience off? something to do with oxigen in the brain I once heard?
