My tinnitus seem to have gotten louder than normal an hour ago in my left ear and I’m trying my best to stay calm, as I know anxiety can worsen it.

My only pointer at this cause is using a stethoscope yesterday at the pulmonologist.

He wanted me to use it so I can hear my lung expanding. I was hesitant to use it but did anyways.

I’ve taken NAC yesterday as well as today and magnesium. I just honestly don’t know what to do.

A stethoscope is hardly loud enough to cause a spike, maybe you ate something?

Yes this can happen with things like that. But it is temporary @Kain. Give it a few days to calm down.

Sometimes salty foods or even caffeine can cause a spike. Hope you get better.

Stethoscope is not even close to sounds of traffic. You are going to be good my man.

thought i’d give an update: can’t really go back to sleep at the moment, it seems to have calmed down a bit and there’s a tone that fluctuates. i’m sure some will say it should improve and that i’m worrying too much over it, which is correct, but honestly the fear lingers  i still have a lifetime to go and i don’t want to suffer too much

I’m okay i guess, my T’s a bit more noticeable than usual. I still feel a bit anxious and I’m still pretty tired.
