I work as a video editor, lots of noise everyday from headphones and I developed pulsatile tinnitus and hyperacusis around 2 years ago suddenly after a loud noise & a sharp pain in my right ear.

Swimmers tend to pinch their noses and blow with their mouth closed to pop both their ears to get out water. I noticed when I pinch my nose and blow I can ONLY pop my right ear!

The right ear is the only one I have the issues with!

So, does anyone know what happens inside the body when you pinch and blow? This could lead to some sort of clue!

I also notice when I yawn in the morning, only my right ear is popped when yawning, it's a very awkward feeling.

If you have anything to add, please do! Thank you!

That is not related to why you have tinnitus and hyperacusis. You have it because of a noise injury.

It is delusional for someone with a history of noise exposure to assume the cause of their tinnitus is unknown.

I agree, and I've tried removing all noise for a week and it seemed as if it was worse. You got to understand it's really ominous what makes it better or worse, honestly it feels like listening to music and regular volumes (which hurts my hyperacusis acclimates me.) I can try removing noise again but I really haven't seen improvement before.
