      Hi all,

Is this product, used in small amounts, dangerous for someone with cochlear hair cell damage?

I feel I have upper respiratory congestion coming on, and I can get a mean cough at times.

      Hi, J.M.
Did you decide to go ahead and take the cough medicine with codeiene? I don't know if it would be a problem or not. It seems to me that a small dose would probably not be an issue. I've taken a couple things since my severe tinnitus began that are supposed to be irritating, but had no real effect. One of them was the antibiotic, Cipro. It didn't make my tinnitus any worse than it already was.

I hope you're feeling better, and don't have a bad cough!

No, my congestion was short lived after I took a pseudoephedrine (no T spike that I can remember after I took the pill).

That's good! It's bad enough having tinnitus when you're well; even worse when you're sick. I am glad you're feeling better.

I mostly take natural supplements, but the last time I had bronchitis, the only thing that worked for me was an antiobiotic.

      Take care!
