As I've been saying a couple of hundred times on this forum, my reactive tinnitus comes and goes.

Recently it was away for like 4 weeks then it came back. But since it came back it has been pretty hard to mask it since the masking sound triggers it.

So does anyone know anything specific that works well for reactive tinnitus? Any particular sound or noise?

      Thanks for the video

Me neither. It can totally disappear for a month...completely...then comes back just like that. Loud noises etc has never brought it back...it just comes by itself when it feels like it. Perhaps its connected to TTTS.

I have told you many times @Raphael7713 and written many posts on tinnitus. Tinnitus MUST not be Masked. You must not try to cover up the sound of your tinnitus. Use whatever sound you like but keep it lower than your tinnitus. If you try to mask it you'll make it more difficult for your brain to accept the noise and could make it more intrusive.

With all due respect but reactive tinnitus is a little different. I kept the masking at a VERY low volume yesterday night and it still triggered an ANNOYING sound that would only disappear when i shut the masking sound off.

I don't quite understand what you mean @Raphael7713 You say that you want someone to recommend a masking sound? If I understand you correctly you then say, even a low sound spikes the tinnitus? Please explain what you want?

I don't think you will find one.
