      Hi everyone,

first: I've had a light tinnitus in my right ear for about 6 months and it's gone now.

I am not sure if it's gone because of what I did but I'd like to share my experience and since it's gone a few days after I started to train my ears I'm gonna tell you how I did it.

I do this like a half an hour a day max. What I do is I raise my eyebrows and close my eyes. When I do this I get a special feeling in the area of my ears, it's like I move the muscles inside my ears. So with permanent raised eyebrows and closed eyes I'm trying to move this muscles with eye movement, trying to push my eyelids firmer together when they are already closed. It's hard to explain but I hope some experience the same when doing this. It's also kind of very hard to do this for me since this area is not a common workout area but I think it helped with my tinnitus, so I share this experience and hope it helps some of you too;)

I find this interesting, I am a bit confused about after your eyebrows are up and your eyes are close you try to raise your eyebrows even more? Also do you keep your eyebrows lifted for the entire 30 minutes? I am open to trying this just wanted to clarify your method. Also curious to know how long your T has been gone and is is completely gone? How long after you started doing this did you get a result or any results? Thanks you!

What kind of tinnitus did you have? I do a similar exercise to help relax my middle ear muscles since my tinnitus is caused by their spams.

I did notice that the tinnitus disappeared shortly and slightly after closing my eyes sometimes. The rest is my innability to endure certain unpleasant things and luck I guess.

Well the easiest way to get that feeling in my ears' area is to have the eyebrows lifted when closing my eyes. I don't lift them even more when my eyes are closed, I try to close my eyes even more- I push my eyelids more and more together and release them again and again.
My eyebrows are lifted most of the time but it also happens that I get my ears moving with only eyelid movement while eyes are closed. I can then really feel and hear some movement inside my ear.
My T has been gone now for 3 days. It sometimes comes back a little when starting with this exercise, but most of the day it's gone and this proves to me that there's a certain connection there. The results started like 3 days after I started this but my T wasn't that bad.

What kind? Hm... It was probably caused by to loud music, but I'm not definitely sure. It was a very annoying subtle deep hum.

I'm gonna look up what a "textbook troll" is but I'm not trying to advertise a book or anything else. I was just happy my T disappeared so I posted my method here to maybe help others;)

ear exercises ehh?! I'll give it a go. I'd like to add when I do a HUGE fake smile I feel and can see my ears move, I shall incorporate this into the workout. Not counting on this working but might as well try right? considered all the money Ive wasted on supplements lol. HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!

I honestly don't think it's the eyebrow exercise that you did that made the T go away. 6 months is a long time to have it and I've read that T can go away as quickly as it came.

Please try it, I'm not sure if it works and it is a really exhausting workout I find, but also my T is as good as gone(would be gone for good if I wasn't making music and so keep my ears really busy all day) and it's free.

You can either wait for it to disappear or try a punch of other alternatives. I did post this because mine has really improved since I do this( it's almost gone, so it didn't just disappear but it gets constantly better) and it's not bad to suggest a little workout i think.

Can you explain what mainly caused your T, headphones, concert, bars, acoustic trauma?

To me, this is absurd hogwash, with no practical means of curing screaming T!

Do you think training muscles and encouraging blood flow in your ears' area has no practical health benefits and is hogwash? I can live with that;)

When I do so I try to move the muscles inside my ear. It's not about the raised eyebrows it's about working out your ears, inside. The eyebrow thing just helps me get a better feeling for how to control these muscles. You have to get a feeling inside your head that you move these muscles. I's very exhausting mainly because I didn't even know that I could move these muscles before. I didn't have the body feeling there but it improves with practice. Try it out maybe it helps you too.

He has a point when I do something similar to this (open and close my eyes really hard) it helps work out the muscles in the ear. With that said it might not help everyone my t is caused by muscular tinnitus so I benefit from this type of work out.

Yes, many people have, judging from the amount of posters about it in this very forum.
