      I found this article in the most recent edition of Tinnitus Today about treatment of Pulsatile Tinnitus.

      I hope everyone who suffers from this condition will find this article useful.

      I may contact Dr. Robb in Arizona. He seems to be an expert in treating Pulsatile Tinnitus.

      Thanks, @Jon J.,

      Do you have pulsatile tinnitus yourself, or are you just providing this information for those of us who do? If so, have you had any of the usual tests? I've had an MRI, MRA, CT scan, and carotid Doppler. All were unremarkable.

      I'll be interested to hear whether you are able to reach Dr. Robb, and what he has to say.

      Thanks for this information!

      Best wishes,
      Karen

      I was unsuccessful in posting the article. I think I figured it out. Here it is again. Yes I do have PS.

      Jon,

      Thanks for posting this hopeful article! I've kind of given up (for now, at least) on finding a cause for my PT, and have been trying to "live with it". It's not easy! If you find a great doctor who will take the time to run lots of tests, there is a good chance of finding a cause, and possible cure.

      I'd like to hear more of your story. Have you had PT since 2005? Do you have other symptoms? What do you think might have caused your PT?

      When my T started I had PT, a RING, two hisses, and a Flutter..... OMG.. it was hell. it finally went to a low hiss and ring, but I am telling you, PT and the Flutter was the worst.... I am only saying this to separate the PT and flutter from the rest, it comes back once and a while, and I PRAY to baby Jesus to give me my hiss and ring back.. GOD bless you child...

      @Piper the great,

      That is good news that your PT and flutter went away on their own. I agree that the PT and the flutter are the worst; it's very scary when it is at its worst, because your mind tells you that there is something wrong. I had terrible fear, panic and anxiety when this first started back in 2010. Now, it has improved, so maybe there's hope that mine will finally subside, too.

      I'm glad that yours is now down to a low hiss and a ring. That seems to be the way mine is going, too. Every so often, I'll have a bad day, but overall, it seems to be improving.

      Thanks for your comments, and I'm glad you're doing so much better now!

      Hi, @Rog ,

      No, I have not had an angiogram, or a CT angiogram (that's a CT scan with contrast dye). Do you have pulsatile tinnitus?

      HI Rog,
      Do you mind me asking what leads you to have this test done. I had an MRI, MRA and Cartoroid Sonogram and everything came back fine.

      @Rog,
      Where are you having the angiogram done? Are you in the US? I wish you success, and hope that the angiogram will help you find a cause for your PT.

      My doctor didn't order an angiogram for me. There is a test, called a CT angiogram, which is actually a CT scan with contrast. He did suggest that to me, but I haven't had it done as yet.

      Hi @kevin b , sorry for the delay. The angiogram is the best exame when you have PT. Went to 2 neurosrgeon and they asked me to get them done once nothing came up with the exames .
