Tinnitus Got Louder

Hi,

recently I got ill, I had sore throat, a bit of a pain in left ear, I did antibiotics, it got better, but I've noticed that T is a bit louder in that ear, Im freaking out a bit, and there is some unusual cracking and poping in that ear now, It is hard to evade getting ill at this time of the year in here so maybe it just temporary, but just want to hear some of your experiences.

I had habituated to my T, but have had on off sinus issues for a month or so and that has contributed to making mine worse. I'm going to try and get back to my doc this week. It currently feels like I have pressure in my inner ear. It pops and gurgles a bit and my T goes loud and quiet. Odd.

 

Woke up this morning, could barely hear with left ear, went straight to doctor, said its inner ear infection, prescribed some medication, but now T is rageing in that ear, God I hope it is temporary, I just don't get it, why does my life keep giving me crap, when one is over next one is just behind doors.

 

Try a neti pot with salt water (boil water so it's clean, then add salt yourself). Cleans sinuses and gives me a little relief.

 

I can so relate to " why does life keep on giving me crap, one after another ".... This T is just too much.

 

I've been sick for a few days and my T has been going off the hook, pretty standard in my experience though. Hope it settles for you soon!

 

If it gives you some hope, my ears have been popping and gurgling this morning and it seems to have brought down the level. The in ear pain has reduced too. No saying they won't block again tho
