About
Hi Everybody,
Just joined this community for support and learning more about this annoying condition. I developed it recently, 2 months ago, I believe during a stressful period at work. I have been diagnosed with a 2000 Hz T in both ears with no hearing loss. I tried prednisone at the onset for 10 days and did not work. Been taking Ginko and Melatonin prescribed by my otorhinolaryngologist since onset, also nothing noticeable. I have been taking amytriptiline for years for anxiety and all doctors have assured me it is not the cause of it. I have had 3 session of osteopathy and that has helped a bit. I guess the tension around my neck and shoulders exacerbates the T. I am consciously taking things easy and working on reducing my anxiety as much as possible, but the ringing is always there like a curse. Anyway, that’s my little story. Glad I found this group, looking forward to hearing from you!Interact
