      Hi guys. Are there any firearms enthusiasts on this site that suffer from T.
      I love my clay bird shooting and am not willing to let T get the better of me and stop me from doing this.
      Since getting T I use moulded ear plugs and ear muffs rated nrr33 which is supposed to be the highest protection. I have also just ordered pro ears gold electronic muffs.

      Just wanted to find other shooters who are dealing with the same issues. Also their experience in doing so.

      I do not shoot as much as I once did but still enjoy the sport..I always used hearing protection when shooting but did not when hunting when I was a much younger person..
      Now I keep a pair of earplugs or muffs handy when doing just target shooting but also a pair I can grab quick when the occasional coyote should be so stupid to allow me a shot.
      My tinnitus is not very noise sensitive to the occasional loud noise like the slamming of a door but I take no chances with anything that might cause further hearing damage.
      When wearing ear protection I can tell no difference in my T after shooting a few magnum loads. I do not want to even think what would happen without the protection though.

      @Relic Hunter
      That is good to hear. I went hunting on the weekend. Wore earplugs moulded for my ears and nrr 33 rated ear muffs on top. I beleive that emotion plays a big part in someones T as when I got to the camping site I was a little paranoid about shooting and felt a raise in T. Also felt that way through out the trip and when I got home today.
